Youth Dance Guidelines & Etiquette
Appropriate Dress
-
Be neat, clean, modest, and appropriate in your clothing and grooming.
-
For casual dress dances, this generally means nice shirt and nice pants, but refer to each individual event flyer for more guidance
-
For Sunday dress dances, wear clothing that you would wear when attending Sacrament services.
“The scriptures compare our bodies to a holy temple, a place where the Spirit can dwell….. Avoid (dress) styles that emphasize or draw inappropriate attention to your physical body instead of who you are as a child of God with an eternal future. Let moral cleanliness and love for God guide your choices. (FSY: Your Body is Sacred)
